Bare metal Razorback?
« on: February 05, 2006, 12:34:33 AM »
Just curious if anyone is working on a bare metal P47-d11?

I know there are some fun ones out there just waiting to be skinned...
But I'll leave it to the masters to find one worth doing

:aok

Hun Hunter flew with the 12th USAAF in the 57th Fighter Group... I just can't be sure which squadron (There were 3 in the group i believe... 64th, 65th, and 66th)

I'll put it to the community...does anyone out there know?:aok

Turns out I had a decal sheet and another profile from a 1/48th scale Jug I hadn't built yet.  I think the yellow in the decal sheet is better then the first profile's yellow and more accurate as is the 65th FS badge on the nose

That's looking great rogerdee!
The only thing that i see that appears a little off (and this is a nit pick) but H in Hun looks like it should be ilalicized.

WOOOOT!!!!   Man I'm excited! :aok

That's confusing because some of them have the lettering looking vertical and some have it with a slight slant.
