The only site I've run across that doesn't play well with Firefox is PCPitstop

I tried FF but it still doesn't work with Logitech's iTouch software for my cordless keyboard.  I have been VERY happy with Opera and it allows me to set a default zoom of 180% so I can easily read text from 8' away.:D

Hey Davenrino, do you play with a stretched out picture when playing Aces High?  I did at first when I hooked up my HDTV to my PC.
I have a PC input on my TV and I set the game to the highest resolution which as 1360x768 in my video8.cfg file in the HTC folder.  If you TV doesn't accept that res, then try 1280x720.

Kermit,
My 58" display's native resolution is 1920x1080p and I use to play on a 50" Panny with a native res of 1280x720.  I tried the native res in AH on both displays with the same result - it looked awesome with no stretching but the screen was cropped vertically even though it completely fills the display.  IE- The bottom row of guages is cut off on the P51 along with precious sky above the windscreen.  For gameplay reasons only, I stretch 1280x1024 with a couple inches of black on both sides but no loss of vertical real estate.  I tried 1280x960 but AH would not launch.  I find it odd that it will launch with a custom widescreen res of 1980x1080 but not 1280x960 which I think used to be an in-game option.

Next time you open up IE or FF, hold CTRL and move your mouse scroll ball.

YOU BASTIGE!! 1920x1080p, wow!

You should try to just use the arrow keys to move further back in the plane.  That way, you can see all the gauges, and get back the sky above the frame of the airplane.  It would be nice to see more with a widescreen, but maybe, a curved monitor would be needed to increase the POV setting in AH.
Then again, you have 58 inches to work with, I wouldn't mind black bars on the side to keep the image from stretching.

Yup,
I do use that, also but i like the "DEFAULT" zoom much better.  KP+/- in Opera also change zoom by 10%
