I wish for just a little bigger area to display nose art. I have come up with some real good looking ones but due to the 64X64 pixle limit they look terrible when shrunk that small..... I've had to keep them real simple just so they could be seen easily being that small.   I understand the need for historicly accurate skins but our Game nose art is drowned out in most cases by the skin art. I would think after a few months of flying the same skins over and over we should know what they look like. The only time I get a good look at someones art is in a GV or taking off on a runway.....

    Well it's just a wish.:)

yeah, that would be cool.

but, if you're shrinking images, blurr them a little before you shrink. once you've blurred em, they dont go all nasty and pixellated

I still want to be able to make fully custom skins, so long as they match a given markings scheme (like, a custom skin for a PTO USN/USMC bird c. 1942 MUST have the blue-gray/light-gray colors, etc).

Either that, make the "Default" skin a generic one. National insignia and color scheme only, with NO individual plane markings (numbers, killboards, nose art, etc). That way there's nothing to obscure the custom nose art.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
