I see curious george as a statement about the welfare class in american society. The welfare class (george), keeps getting in trouble, despite the rest of the productive economy (the man in the yellow hat) supporting him and rescuing him daily -- and yet George continues to screw up the next day, never breaking the cycle. George does things like huff ether (drugs), which the man in the yellow hat is powerless to stop, even though he knows it is hurting him and keeps getting him in trouble and needing to be rescued. As a result of George's difficulty assimilating with the rest of society, he is confined to the zoo (inner city).
I find this highly offensive. I demand that we ban welfare.
