Give him a week, then lay out a nice rack of BBQ baby back ribs in front of his cell door all nice hot and steamy. Put some nice potato salad, a green salad and some beans for side dishes. If it makes ya feel better a dish of kous kous could be there as well.

Heres what I dont get

Back in WW2 when they had the nazi trials, they were convicted in no time and hanged/shot/etc. With saddam, they make a big stretched out deal out of it. Everyone knows he is guilty, just shoot him and get it over with

I guess what I find amusing is how Saddam continues to think he can evoke pity from others about his situation. From his claims to being abused to now this hunger strike, in light of the charges against him...its just pure irony.
