Are there any plans for adding the B-17F?

This should be a fairly easy addition (since there already is a B-17 in the game) and very useful if we are going to have a decent planeset for 1943 period.

it is likely, because the b17's are being remodelled at the moment, so in a month or two we should get one or two more 17 variants

It COULD, but did not operationally. What we have is the usual operational bomb loads. This is why there are lots of interesting ord options missing from most of the planes in the game -- they were just too rare.

So we have planes as they operated. Not at factory best conditions and not rare one-off prototypes. In that spirit we also get operating ord options.

the 17000lbs is what it COULD carry, however, to fly to germany, they had to lose over half of that so that they could carry the fuel needed to get to the target. i imagine the 17000lb load would get you 20 mins of flying time

Get rid of the gear and put in a skid and then you're set.

wow, if u really look at it would b pretty awsome to c a formation of 3 B17s drop over 51,000lbs (if i added correctly) of bombs on a target

while we are on the subjext of the B-17 how bout adding moving throttle levers and a yoke

bah if we allowed the 17k bomb load Genrl would finally be able not to go to 30k  and not spend 3 hours on an escort mission with him hehehe:p

Remove the bombs you can become an astronot.
