Bobby Rahal to Formula 1

Rahal announced as new Jaguar Chief  20 Sep 2000.
Jaguar Racing announced this evening (Wednesday) that Bobby Rahal is to become Chief Executive Officer and Team Principal of the outfit.
He will assume the Position on December 1st at the end of the CART season, and will be replacing Neil Ressler in his day to day duties with the team.[/cut]

Guy really have some work to do if he's gonna rise Jag to the top 5.
Lets see what happens

Think it's a coincidence that an Indy champ is named head of a team owned by a US corporation only 4 days before the first GP at Indy?  Looks like Ford is serious about marketing F-1 in the US.

My claim to fame is that I caddied for Bobby Rahal once when he was a member at Muirfield Village GC in Dublin, OH.  He didn't talk much, but was nice and plays quite well.
