I have a Yakima Kingpin 2 for a 2" receiver. I could have went with something cheaper, but I have their roof rack and I've been satisfied with the quality so I decided to go with them for the bike rack as well.

Next time I buy one, its going to be something that swings away from the back. Yakima has a couple... the Fullswing 4 and the Backswing 4. The Kingpin swings down away from the door, but you can't really do that with the bikes still on the rack.

You can find a lot more information on other racks at http://mtbr.com/reviews/bike_rack/

Oh... and my fat lard bellybutton rides a 2004 Trek Fuel 70. :)

The $40 Hitch looks okay, but would be a pain in the bellybutton if you're driving an SUV. It appears that you have to remove it to open the tail gate. I also wonder about securing it to the truck.

I bought the Yakima locks as well. The hitch locks to the receiver and then the bikes have a cable lock to the rack.
