Thanks for sharing Mars01.

I guess the A10  pilots are flying with some strict rules as to how low and fast they can make their passes over the field.

No aerobatics allowed?

I spend most of my vacations camping on a lake in the Adirondacks. Now thats where you want to be if you want to see F-16's and A10's flying low and pulling some G's on the deck.
Sometimes an F-16 will break the sound barrier by accident.

Nothing like being on a boat in the middle of a big lake with an impromptu air show going on all around you.

I have two more left to do.  Two Pitts Specials in formation from inside.  Morph and I flew in #2 on my buddy in a s1.

Then a montage of stuff that didn't make the videos.

Glad you guys enoyed them, it makes them even more fun to do.  Thanks to all.  Make sure you crank the Audio or your missing out :D.

Yeah reeb .  Those fights are what keep me loggin in.  It was cool that was a good fight.  There were a few good fights last evening.

LOL Mugz,

Yeah I was afraid that some with teh weaker stomachs would notice that.

I have to find a nice compact Tripod that will fit in the turtledeck of the Pitts but also tall enough, not bad for hand held tho.  The digital zoom is the hardest to control and useless with out a Tri Pod.  As you noted :D

BTW - MarsAware is always looking for sponsorship and donations.  :D, :aok

Anyone that wants thier name on the Pitts, PM me for size and pricing.  This year we're working to fund a trip to the nationals in Sept, in Texas (wink wink : Grayson County Airport - locator GYI, Denison, TX), hopefully we'll make 06, otherwise 07 or bust!  :D  "Aces High" sure would look great on teh TOP WING. :D :aok  Not to mention all the pilots (wink wink) that I would naturally be around and have to explain what and how great AH is. :D  Either way if I don't compete, I would like to go and film it this year.  (fingers crossed).

Twr could rein in on this one, but I think everypwone is limited by the FAA Regulations for class D airspace.  Don't quote me -

Under 200 MPH or Kts
No bank angle exceeding 30 degrees

It definately blows, It would be cool if there were a way to get ammendments to allow certain leeway accored to events like these, without a full blown airshow or aerbatic waiver.

Lets face it, the hogs would do some basic wingovers, chandles even maybe a loop or 1/2 cuban 8s - I would hope.

The ammendment would definately have to close the airport during specific windows or time slots, which would be a pain for the tower to say the least.  Not to mention the one thing that kills all events like this, which is the liability.  It takes some balls to coordinate and pull off things like COCT.

Twr was great tho.  I took a quick flight the Thursday night before COCT started, to get re-familurized with the airport, check out set up and see what hogs made it in.

So as I call the Tower entering the pattern, Twr replies, "Roger 98r the field is Deacked."  My brain twitched for a second, laughed and said.  "Rgr, Bridgeport, how about a low pass."  Twr replied - "Expected. "  LOL  His staff was great and made it a very fun and safe event.
