this thread makes me laugh. kilz, you're a good guy, but as far as your knowledge about this community goes, well...


i mean, firstly, stating yourself as one of the 'best' is a little odd, and backscratching other squaddies is a little weird, and that is the main reason people are laughing at this thread. most of your fighter guys are all score potatos. most of these guys i wipe the floor with in a proper fight (my k/d ratio is something like 2.7 lol)


score means nothing. pilot skill usually has no relation to score, because they guys that die all the time are usually the ones that dive into furballs, and kill a lot of guys before being cherry picked by one of your so called 'aces' that are trying to up their rank from 7 to 1 so they can get another medal and award from their squad, and get lots of wtg's (very sad)


but that may be due to the fact that you dont fly much, so rank is what you have to go on.

i did not state myself as the best overall i stated i am in (let put this in bold) MY OPPINION is the top in gvers. everyone is intitled to thier own oppinion so instead of critizing others oppinions just post your own. and pooface that part was not meant towards you.

this part is. so you trying to say that all LTARs are score hores and dont dive in to the furballs or all the vulchers and that we just cherry pick. sorry we dont give out medal or awards in this squad your either cut out to be in this squad or your not.

99MecInf- Loves the Hurri-mk1 (BOP)
Viper215-  Good all around pilot (BOP)
FlaydONE- Enjoys flying low-end planes almost exclusively.(BOP)
Jam934-  Awesome with the La-7 (187th Angry Inch)
KITE777- because he's brutal in anything he flies. (BOP)

Top 5 Bombers (my opinion):

FlaydONE- (BOP)
ThunderEGG-(BOP)
Waldo-(BOP)
Donzo-(BOP)
SLAMMERX

Top 5 Ground Vehicle (my opinion):

OneSSace-(DustOff)

These choices are based on who I fly with the most, namely my squad and certain others.  This is not based on game statistics of any kind.

Yeap.

There are some good bomber pilots, as well as good gv people. My squady Dantoo is very good in buffs. He brings lancs, kill couple fighters, kill town, kill vh and couple gvs, and all in one load. Probably one of the best bomber pilots around. At least have not seen any bishop who is better.

Most of people in  this game specialize on something. Some good in guns, some in buffs, some great in base defence, some in vulch.

But for me top qualities on players in this game are good personality and sence of humor.

There used to be a great bomber squad back a couple years ago, that was headed up by Waffen3D. ( I think that's how you spell his name, been a long time) I had alot of respect for the guys in that group. They were always helping out, would be flying near or over a field and were always asking the guys in fighters down low what needed to be hit. They didnt just drop the fist thing they got lined up on, they didnt bomb from 10 feet, they bombed with alt, and did not miss. Now we got a bunch of posers trying playing Air Quake leveling everything they can. Times have changed.

I'd rate the best Bomber pilot as a guy who can not only do the basics,
like bomb well, calibrate,etc etc
But can lead a large group of other Bombers at altitude and keep in good formation, use good navigation and provide good communication,
being able to assign good target lines and have an egress plan

So i'd say Vega from DWBG, Shubie from BOP or Filth as the best.
Im sure the Nits and Rooks have some guys like that too,
just dont know em

I vote for any of the LTARS as best in GVs
with thier deadly aim in the Osti, and the way in which they defend a field
and I'll throw Zazen in there too,,,,,,,,he's good in that Osti

In fighters..who knows,there are so many good sticks,
so again I'd give it up to squads that work as a team
and use wingman tactics and protect each other,like BK's or 71 Squadron

I cant speak for 71 Squadron, but I can tell you 100% for sure that the BK's DO NOT watch each others backs. On the contrary we try any way we can to stab each other in the back by stealing each others killz. There is nothing funnier than shooting at a wingless enemy so you can steal a squaddies kill.

or killing them if they are on opposing teams.  i roped Grits PERFECTLY the other day, , then threatened to post it on squad bbs.

in fact i still might pick it out and post it on squad bbs. :t
