Lil jug film
« on: February 24, 2006, 09:45:22 AM »
Here's a little jug film.  Blukitty made the film.  I did something rather funny like 6:30 into the film or something.  So switch to my plane and disable the use player view box (cause it's buggy since i was a little ways away from  blu)  It's what to do when you're jug is getting completely outturned hehe.

Most definitely the coolest thing i have ever seen in my life.

I once did the same stunt to roscoroo, me in a ju88, he in a stuka...but to do it in FT, against a spit, in rough terrain.....OMG!

YUCCA, you are unbelievable.    You and kitty winging should be illegal.

your stunt was incredible, not to mention some of the most fantastic flying ever from kitty.

both of you and 56th.

:D

you remember that one too!!
funny thing was, after you got back on my tail, it took all the ammo a stuka hold just to give me a fuel leak, untill the last 20 rounds set an engine on fire.

you HAVE to watch this film, yucca possible pulled off the best trick ive seen EVAR!

absolutely unreal.

Yukka not trying to start anything . But at one point (approx 6.10 )you seem to dive below ground. I view the film as soon as I saw your name pop up.  This is noticeable from inside cockpit and out.

Like I said not starting anything just seemed strange.

Bronk, that is probably because it was Blu recording that film, not Yucca. The flight path of the planes further away from the recording one arent updated as often (most noticable with planes in only dot range... they seem to "jump" along their flight path).

Some sweet bomber flying there Yucca and Kitty. And great winging. >S<
Illegal indeed :D.

Yucca, if you ever need a vet for the annual shots of that Kitty of yours.... just holler, ill make a special price, just for you ;).

I'm rather shocked that 1) Blu flew so slowly in the jug, and 2) He wasn't instantly KILLED for flying so slowly in the jug, and 3) he ONLY lost 2 flaps and an aileron.

I have tried similar things in better conditions and STILL got shot to s***, usually first thing to go is oil, pilot would, or gas, or some combination of all 3. I **NEVER** simply lose flight controls on a jug (lol)

That lucky SOB!

P.S. Yucca it was hard to see in external view, I only saw your gear once it retracted (it popped out then retracted), how long did you have gear down, how long were you "landing"? Was it just a fast touch and go, or were you rolling for a few seconds?

He also lost his rudder and the left main landing gear... It got him home tho...

Yucca's landing stunt was priceless too..

Nice film guys, shows how much fun you can have flying Jugs.

Well think i was landed for about 5 seconds.  Noticed sads overshot.  Banked hard right to avoid hitting the trees and he flew in front of my guns :)  It's an excellent overshoot for p47!
