I'm going to pick sweden.  Not that I care, I just think their name sounds funny.

I thought Norway has done fine in these Olympics. Although I haven't paid much attention to how Norway has done - but IIRC Finland had more medals (at least more gold medals!) in the Salt Lake olympics than we have in here... But the overall situation for team Finland wasn't as good - we won more gold medals during the last Olympics but we didn't have as many medals overall - but I'm not sure of this...

Last time we got fewer medals but we got the most gold... 13. Some predicted that Norway would take 15 golds this time but now we have.... 2!

Im not the kind of guy that thinks that gold is everything, and I know every medal is the result of hard work etc but its the way that some of these gold medals has been "lost" that irritates me.

History has shown tho that after doing this bad we usually do very well the next time, so hopfully this will be the case in 4 years.

Im very impressed with Sweden and USA. They have really stepped up a notch from last time.

France had a good shot at taking another medal today, but Vidal broke his arm yesterday (thats bad luck) and he surrendered today and quit as a skiier.

"...ya, I broke my arm going for gold in the '06 Olympics", not a bad story to tell...but it has to suck to work so hard to get your chance and then something like that to happen.

All these athletes are world class.
