Track n' Flip
« on: February 26, 2006, 12:41:59 PM »
If both tracks on a Panzer are shot off at the same time while moving, the tank will sink into the ground and launch back out, usually flipping over.

Took 4 rocket hits from an F4U while on the move (after surviving 3 bomb HITS) and lost both tracks. The above happened.

Probably the same thing that caused you to survive the 3 bomb hits, damage model needs tweaking.

Well, that's been debated for a long time. My point is that the ground shouldn't eat you, huck you into the air, and roll you over. :D

Nah...that should not happen UNLESS you were hit from the front or back. Where did the f4u fore rocks from front back or side?...you still not fall through ground though lol.

The ground thing was pretty dumb.

The F4U began launching about 500 yards out at probably a 10 degree angle to my right when looking forward.

Mayby you fell through because both tracks were blown at the same time and there was nothing to hold gound and the game dident recieve the message to hold above ground?? im just guessing.
