Nope - until a couple of hours ago, I did not know the reason for the cancellation. It could have been the weather for all I knew.  All I know now is that it was a technical defect with the aircraft. That's all I said.

Yup or it was the Yakolev.. heck they are all great! The best is the one with all the propellers and such

Well...the Concordski was the Tupolev TU144.  It crashed at the Paris Airshow 1973 killing all aboard.
