It's good that the government gently suggests to Google that certain things should not be shown to US citizens, the government needs to do more thinking for us.

Boroda, we are censored to the point that the New York times prints classified information, and then demands that they turn over all secret and classified documents under the freedom of information act. Remember when we had the Global Explorer lifting one of your typhoon class subs? The New York times got hold of it and printed it on page one. Now thats censorship American style.

I have my moments.

In the future, I think it best if you all decide to simply agree with everything I say.

Thank you.

Carry on.

Also important to keep in mind, when the Patriot Act went hot - the constitution was basically thrown out the window.

We censor every day as part of the regimen of keeping the game fun to play.  Every business can set its own policies.  It is thier right to do so.  It has nothing to do with the rights afforded to individuals via the goverment.

Might wish to get a good understanding of our system, before trying to attack it.  Otherwise, you might look a tad silly.

The game filters out offensive material / profanity, and rightfully so. Denying access to information to fellow allies within the game is quite another issue.

If you were to keep people in the Bish country in one area, from sending country messages to people defending HQ, for example, would be a more accurate example of this form of censorship, I believe.

As was mentioned, this issue was already discussed.  Google isnt blocking it, the poster of the video can decide what country can view the video, and the poster has blocked access to it in the USA, for whatever reason he decided.

So, go on with your paranoid or fingerpointing, but do so with the knowledge you are acting silly.

A poster can block access to domains from countries they specify? What is the logic in that?

This would be more interesting if Estel's claim was supported by facts and/or references.
