Ping stayed the same, more hops. Not sure about stability yet.

Yesterday ping dropped from ~250 to ~200ms (comming half way around the globe:) ). Also seemed more stable.

I didn't check the number of hops, but I'll monitor that too for the next few days.

my ping at work used be 13 before the server moved to att? then it was 29 now its 39 after yesterdays move.

at my house its like 180 on dialup

My Pings to the new IP avg. about 30ms higher.  Fine all the way until I hit DallasLevel3net.......the route constantly changes at that point and my pings go from 34 to as high as 80 and most times have packet loss at Dallas Level3net.

To me.....not a very good trade off.

Hrm... I'm down to 13 hops, and my ping in general is down from 50-60 to 38.

However, of the 13 hops, 4 have 90% packet loss.

First of all i eited my quote for some typos.
OK now...just checked Ping to MA this early afternoon 1:00pm est.
runniing around 120 now.
edit: PS i have no Pingplot files from previous server. So i cant really compare them. I can only go by the Ping i see into the MA and compare the Variance as i usually look at variance several times per session.
Its still less stable than it was on the previous server.

You can compare the routes.  All the other servers are still at AT&T.  Only the MA has been moved.

 Skuzzy. Are we to believe that server load doesnt affect Variance or Ping? Because i can assure you that my connection stability is always worse when there are more players on. Especially when there are like 500+ players online. The Variance for me get's rather choppy every night. Therefore how can we really compare the MA against the other arenas and get a true reading? Like going to the Backup MA for example.
