Nurburing racing videos
« on: March 02, 2006, 12:22:24 PM »
Cool website with a lot of inrace footages of various modern NUR races. A must see for Nurburing fans, my favorite being this one:

High Quality: Porsche 996 GT3 RS, 24.September 2005

and this local rally : High Quality: Rallye Köln Ahrweiler 2005  , which brings back memories of my early 20s, "racing" a similar Opel Manta.

Website here
Site in German, but should have no problem finding the vids in the "download section".

Btw. its NÜRBURGRING

Even if you miss the umlaut, is it too hard to try to spell these words correct ? If you cannot spell, google and copy-paste works fine.
Proverbs 15:17 "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred herewith."

Frenchy get online with GTL.  I was chasing AKSkurj's Escort around the Nordschleife last night in my P906.  :)

Oh man, I ear you. I should post the video I made of a night lap @ Leman in the Ferrari GTB. The sounds   ... more enjoyable than smoking a cigaret after sex. I'll post it here in the next 30 min, see what u think.

Personaly, I think there are too many servers driving the 76s, and especially the 906, who's the LA7/Spit of the class. I bought the game more for the 65s, as they provide more driving enjoyment to me. I host races where I remove the top monsters, like the TVR/GT40/Elan, and you end up having more competitive races with a wider variety of cars.

Gime a call when u go online, I'll join you:aok  (Saturday is OWRL first season race, I better train for it in the meantime) From GTL to LFS feels like IL2 to AH2.:)

I bought the game to drive the 906 :)
Pity there's not a 908 or 917 too.
Then we'll hear you V-8luftwhiners cry!!!

I like the middle class, GTC 65 or whatever it is.  The class with all the slow 4 bangers is pretty dull though.

What I really want is Can Am.  American V-8's, some of the world's best drivers, running 2-3 sec faster than F1 every where they went.

Don't get me wrong, I love the 906. As a matter of fact, I was whishing to recreate those 1969s Porsche/GT40/Ferrari battles.
