I think a section on here dedicated to Military history would be nice. Yes we have aircraft and vechicles. But this area could incorporate stories, findings, questions, and a place where us history buffs could show off out knowledge. There are alot of posts that get lost with stories of experiences and family that have taken part in history.

My .2 cents.

I dont remember Sikboy. I thought that if there was someone would have complained about its absence since then.

They did for a couple of years. Ozark an old squadie of mine requested it (with others I am sure) and they put it up. It was a pretty quiet forum after a while, so they closed it.

I'd be interested in a dedicated historical forum. Presumably WW2 only?

Getting a few old armchair historians together for a bit of a natter and exchange of ideas over a beer & cigar would be valuable imho.

I thought of requesting just a WW2 forum. But if it is open to all kinds of military history it should get more traffic.
