2. The films bring smile to my face too - I wish the Middle East was bombed into nothing but a $#%@$ parking lot!

3. Do you have kids - I do - I don't think this type of material is suitable for them at all and they do surf here. Do you think this material is suitable for kids? (Refering to the war videos - the rifle vs tank).

4. I lost two friends in the Towers (I could barely play Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes at their funerals) - I will never forget.

5. I was sent in by my department 9/14/01 to assist. I never got down to the actual sight - I was assigned to traffic detail. However I have seen all the photos, the FBI videos of people jumping (The ones the mainstream media will not shoe on TV). I've seen pictures of the bodies that jumped - nothing but a puddle of mush.

So no offense - You don't have to lecture me about 9/11.

My only problem with the whole thing is Kids - thats all. They play here too!

i agree with en4cer here. not because of the videos but because it isnt really for sensetive viewers. not all AHer's are gunho americans, so some could be a little horrified by seeing people die on camera, and not surprisingly, it isnt going to be great viewing material for kids.

im like en4cer here though, although i disagree with showing the vids in an open public forum, i think all the little buggers deserve what they get

read my post, i think all the bastiges are retarded, and they deserve everything they get and more. dont forget, the little f**kers came and bombed my city too, infact a friend of mine nearly died on the tube because of it...

...however, this forum is not the place for linking vids like that, not because they aren't 'nice' but because young kids and people who are sensetive to stuff like that should not see mass murder on camera. sure, it is war, and im in full support of it. i think all those guys in the middle east are human waste, but even so, seeing em die on camera is not for young kids, who do surf this board. maybe in the o'club with a warning it may be a little better:aok

I have friends that are in the armed forces.In fact my best friend and his wife are in the ari force and have been over there,my ex room mate just joined up and she may be going over after basic.
As as a prior marine back in '82 I have to agree on the actions being take to protect our citizens. All need to be educated on what's going on.no need to suger coat reality.

IMHO, if you or anyone else is letting their kid play a game based on the largest, deadliest, most destructive conflict in history, without helping them to understand and appreciate that fact, you are doing them a great disservice.

Besides, I have seen the same level of graphic violence shown here in many x-box and playstation 2 games.  The days of Mario Brothers when large turtles was all you had to worry about are long gone.

Maybe O'Club is better forum than AH General Discussion, but I have no problem with the message overall.  This is a war game/sim, sanitized though it is, and death is an integral part of war.

The Iraqis had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11.  Nada, zip, zilch.  If you read the investigation results published by the 9/11 Commission very closely, they wrote that Iraq was not involved.  You have to dig to find it, as it is not a popular truth.  But it is the truth.

The Iraq war has been a Charlie Foxtrot since it was first conceived.  Not enough troops, ineffective/nonexistent policing of the looters, firing everyone who had a clue about how the country ran, etc.  It is also a major distraction from what should be job one, finding every swinging member of Al Qaeda and sending them to Allah.

The clowns who messed up get to sit in their comfy homes, far from the danger, ensuring us that we must stay the course.  The ones getting screwed in all of this are the Iraqi civilians and our miltary volunteers.  They're in the meat grinder and the crony capitalists get to enjoy the hash.  The really big winners are the Islamic radicals.  They gain several recruits for every civilian killed by a stray round or bomb.

So continue to feel avenged with each Iraqi death.  Someone has to pay, so it may as well be them.
