While I applaud HTC for wanting to support the new ISP folks, I can't help but wonder how long it will take????

The game is unplayable for me on this new ISP and so I while I can wait for a day or two anything beyond that with no fix will result in my having to cancel my account since I won't pay for what I can't use.

We are giving them a week.  The mere fact they want a chance to see if they can correct the issues (which are not part of thier local network) puts them far ahead of AT&T.

If they cannot correct the problems, then we move the server.

I think it is pretty cool that the ISP wants to try again...

I don't think you ever mentioned where the server moved to, what is the company name?

OK I can understand that from your POV, Skuzzy, this may be a good thing,
ATT vs New guy, but as a customer ATT was giving me the best service to your product, I will be happy if the new ISP can get things up to snuff that would be a win win I guess.

I can take a week of checking I guess but I did want to know how much time we had since they already have had what 2 or 3 days.

Boxboy, have you posted your system specs and and connection info (i.e. ping plots ect...) for them to see?  Skuzzy stated they are reviewing the threads on connectivity.

Took me forever to get on tonight, I'de hang while loading or not even get that far. If it remains like it is I too will have to cancel as it is unplayable, I think my son got so aggravated last night he did cancel his subscription.
Thanks

Oh good, another week of warping and rubber bullets.  If it gets better, well then I apologize.

In addition to the warping and rubber bullets, my frame rates have been cut in half while they try to fix this.........from 45-85 to 10- 40

I haven't noticed a difference. My framerate on this machine is ALWAYS around 20 (which will hopefully change once I get my new rig built and move off the stepdad's machine) and my pings are still around 16 on a good day, no worse than 30-ish.

I may blame other factors for my shoddy flying, but not my connection. :D

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Actually I've noticed a slight framerate improvement with the new server/isp.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that either Hitch or Skuzzy said the server/ISP has nothing to do with Framerates. But I as well as others seem to have noticed a difference.

I know for me with old server I had to avoid lrge furballs as my frames would drop to the low 20s. or else change out my view(shift+F keys) and even then the game would seem,,,slushy
Now they stay in the upper 20's low 30s when around large furballs.
