From what I've been reading, your safe.  I'm going with the 1900xt myself (and will push the clock to xtx levels, maybe... If I feel the need lol).  But mind you, I'm not going NVIDIA solely because I'm ready for something new after years of the same line.

I'm also getting the feel that the Sapphire is a good one to go with.  Save a few bucks is about the only difference.

thnx for the info.  I am sticking to ATI just because I am familiar with them.   Does nVidia have their version of the AIW?  (Thats got the tuner and the HDTV out, etc.).  I wouldnt mind giving nvidia a try out but I just not familiar with thier stuff anymore.  I think the last nvidia card I hat was the ti4200.

well, i couldnt wait.  After installing the RAM and the HD, I had to make a decision and went with the ATI radeon 1800xl AIW.  So my engine is going to be.....AMD 3700 San diego CPU...........OCZ CAS 2 PC3500 RAM.  (I hope my board supports this as it only lists RAM up to ddr400, and mine is ddr433???)......and ATI radeon x1800xl.  Yikes!!!!.   I cant fuggin wait to flip the switch.  (And pray for fresh smell afterwards).

I'm not really up on the RAM business, so I got OCZ 3200 Platinum.  There's articles on it, just look around.
