I agree with Morph ( takes stiff drink )  lets just put some F16's and tomcats in here and be done with it.

 Where's my Mig-3!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!I  agree with ya nazgul, you should be ahamed of yourselves, asking for another spit. You crazy spit fanatics should be satisfied with what u got. We need Mig-3's and P-63's, not more spits an lala's!

LOL

Well it took us a long time to get the current lineup.

Looking to the future -
Current line-up plus (for the ultimate spit lineup) -

Old Vc back as a clipped LF IVc (would also double as a Seafire LIII)
Add the XII (the 190 chaser).
Add the F.21 as the RAF's '45 ride (perked).

Couldn't really add to that list without introducing redundant aircraft. No need for VI, VII, or really even the II.
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
Asus M3N-HT mobo
2 x 2Gb Corsair 1066 DDR2 memory

I am, too.  Very fast planes that also turn very well should NOT be available at all, or at least must be perked.  They destroy the balance of the game and severely limit the survivable ride choices for those with the self-respect necessary to eschew flying the uberdweeb rides.

However, seeing as how HTC still hasn't perked the lamer7 after all these years, and keeps putting in more spits that go fast, the obvious intent is to drive everybody to flying uberdweeb rides, and actual skill requirements be damned.  Therefore, why not go all the way, cut to the chase, and put in F16s and such :(.

BTW, FWIW, the VERY 1st plane show in the original, pre-beta screenshots of the original DOS WB 1.0 was a Sea Fury.  We never had it in the actual game when it came out IIRC, but it was in there for some of the initial testing apparently.  So somebody at HTC likes the thing :).

Also FWIW, the Fury (as opposed to Sea Fury) saw combat in the 1948 Israeli War of Independence.  The Iraqis had a number of them.

If we get the SeaFury, I suspect that the following airplanes need to be added....

Skyraider
Bearcat (which did fly in WW2)
Tigercat (also flew in WW2)
La9
P80
Meteor
Panther
(early russian jet can not think of name of it)

Otherwise I suspect the SeaFury, and most of those above need not be included.

It's funny how a post  about spotting a Sea Fury near my home with Hitech's plane in tow turns into a thread about should we get one or not. Of course we're never going to have one. It's not a WWII plane. Almost, but to late. It does kick major butt though. I mean, how awesome is a plane that has upwards of 3000 Hp, 18 cylinders, and each cylinder is 360ci. Oh, and it looks cool too.

Gloster Gladiator please.  :aok
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

No way the Sea fury would or should be included in the game, it never made it even close to being in WWII.
First deliveries weren't until 1946/7.

Kev, that is the point bohdi is trying to make, most of those planes except for the bear and tigercats never saw combat in ww2! If we get a seafury then the door would be open for other late model planes. Would be pretty cool to fly the A1 Skyraider, all those bombs. One can dream, one can dream.

Was the A-1 Skyraider a all new plane or was it designed off an older airframe?
