Glad to help...I wish I could exercise more.  Every 3 or 4 days I make it to the gym and walk a brisk 3 miles, do a bit of cardio on the other equipment then, if I have any energy left, hit a few of the nautilus-style machines.

I figure some exercise is better than none.

:)

Good choice to drop the smoking habit Mac.

I quit smoking (cold turkey) back in 1990 and have never looked back. The toughest part for me was the first couple of days and then after about two weeks I saw myself as a non-smoker and had no problems maintaining my non-smoking status.

I had to realize that a part of me wanted to smoke and the other part of me recognized smoking as detremental to my health. So there's the conflict. I think the most important thing is to be mentally prepared to quit smoking. Once we have the mindset that we will succeed and are prepared to fight when temptation surfaces then smoking becomes a thing of the past.

I know it sounds simplistic, but it worked for me.

Cheers Mac!

Mac,

Hope you're feeling better!!

A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
