Oh yeah, and add the ditch message becouse you exit the aircraft one meter off the paved runway ... however you can successfully land an aircraft in a GV field or even at the HQ ... :huh  THAT really sucks.

No, I understand HTC's reasoning behind why you have to be on pavement to land an aircraft successfully, but I dont understand why because I was moving on pavement that its a ditch?

Why is it that I get a ditch on my own fields pavement, but when I drive on osty out to an enemy factory and tower out on pavement I get a land sucessful...doesnt make sense:mad:

Most airfields during WW2 had no paved rwys. Fighters could take off in any direction and many times in whole sections togheter.

Landing inside field boundaries should be enuff to get a successful landing. However, the system identifies in the same way both a 2 miles or a 2 meter landing off the paved rwy. Dont you find it weird?  :huh

Should have the vehicle parked and engine off to get a landing, you dont let your car roll along and jump off to park it either right?

You were moving when u towered out? That explains it. One time I landed, then typed .ef, right before the game realised that and shot me back to the tower, I instinctively moved the throttle back to full in preperation for my next takeoff, and in the split second between i typed .ef to the game registering it, my plane accelerated to 5mph. I got a ditch too. Have to make sure your absolutely stopped before towering out

Many times we all have ditched some feets from the runway.

It would be very nice a recover vehicle with a friend to come, take us
with our plane, put us on the runway and Then we hit tower and save our kills.

We need rescue missions with plane recover.

Or at least (more easy) just rescue the pilot with whatever Vehicle,Plane or boat land near him. He just jump in and when the vehicle returns to tower
pilot is also saved and his kills also.

If there are bad guys in the vicinity.

IIRC you can land a gv sucessfully anywhere near a frinedly base as long as there are no enemies within some distance from you (not sure of the exact distance).

If there are enemies near, the only way to sucessfully land is to be stopped on pavement.
