Is there a particular reason why ther is no re arm pad for aircraft at vehicle bases.  It frustrates me that afer landing a goon at the base to capture it u cannot re load and move onto the next field.

I think you answered you own question ... It's a VEHICLE BASE ... not an AIRFIELD.

Why would a vehicle base have airfield supplies (outside of gas) ?

I dunno...if the troops are up at that base, then they should be able to jump in the plane.

Maybe let the american planes reload...50 cal was universal wasn't it? Luftwobble planes will have to fly back to base :D

Because even though one says airfield supplies and the other field supplies they're the same.  It's field supplies.  From an airfield the M3 carries field supplies and the C-47 carries airfield supplies.  Drop them on any field, air or vehicle, and they do the job.  An M3 carries exactly the same supplies as a goon, so why shouldn't the goon be able to pick up that cargo at a vehicle base?  The M3 picks them up at an airfield.

He meant that a vehicle field won't have things like AvGas and machine gun/cannon ammunition.

Rearming tanks and AA wagons would be nice for one.  Being able to rearm fighters is debatable, but on some maps it would be very useful. FesterMA for one. It used be a great map for good GV fights. That has since been ruined by the buff lamers who bring  in tree top Lancs/24's and flatten all VHs down the line for score whoring or because they cant slug it out on the ground. And like was already stated, if troops and supplies are up, you should be able to rearm C-47's.

In addition to a rearm pad, one rotation of FesterMA about 6 months back had Hurricane IID's available at a few Vbases in the "canyon" Vbase chains. It was very handy to have for spotting GV's. I have said this before, the Hurri IID should be available at every Vbase that is not part of Tank Town, its not EZmode like the IL-2 so it shouldnt ruin things for the GV's but will give some minimum anti-GV air support to Vbases.

Think about the amount of time to land taxi and rearm.  Anyone with that level of patience deserves some sort of reward.

Just another thought.  What about lancs towing gliders full of troops. Each Lanc towing three gliders each glider carrying 20 troops.  Base capture made simple
