Dang Eagler, your boys trying to play as bad as mine?

We go out and have 6 turnovers (4 ints) and I get home, turn on the Gator game, and ol' Rexy is throwing 4 ints of his own!  In both games the loser outgained the winner.  Heck FSU rushed for over 200 yards and gained a total of 476 against the #1 team in the land.  You just can't win turning it over 6 times and dropping passes.  Murphy was definitely at our game, in fact, I think he was sitting near me wearing a Miami jersey!   ;)

You gotta go back lots of years to find a weekend where both FSU and UF lose.

hmm, Bama lost too (sorry, hblair.)  wow, did anyone's team win on Saturday???  :(

Saw that... wonder what the chances of Oregon being ranked above two Florida teams is?  Damn glad we don't have to play them ;)

My two schools played one another on Saturday -- Virginia (undergraduate) and North Carolina (graduate).  No matter what happened, at least one of my teams was guaranteed a win.   :D

Saints won, so I had some happiness there.  (New Orleans is only about 3 hrs away, so it's my "home" team.)  Tampa was adopted when I was at FSU, because that's who the FOX affiliate in Tallahassee showed.  Plus, you've got 4 FSU starters on the Bucs.

hehe, forgot about Deja being an Oregon fan!  I was talking to a co-worker today, and I am picking Oregon to run the table in the Pac-10.  It'll be up to the BCS rankings to see if they'll be in the Rose Bowl.  I think we'll see three major undefeated teams at the end of the year.  Oregon, Miami/Virginia Tech (these guys only really have each other left on the schedule) and Oklahoma/Nebraska (they play in 2 weeks, tho they could rematch in the big 12 championship game and reverse the results.)  I'm thinking we'll see Oregon and Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl.  Miami will be #3 out of those teams in the BCS, as the one major non-conference team they play isn't up to par this year (FSU).  Also, you might have Fresno State and Toledo as undefeateds too.  Possibly even BYU.  It's going to be an interesting scenario at the end of the year if these teams keep winning.

lol!  good point.  Though your undergrad is your Alma Mater, and should have your support over the graduate school.   ;)  We play you this week up in Charlottesville.  Should be a good game!   :)

I'm not as optimistic.  Most of my pecimism comes from watching UCLA against Oregon State and Washington.  I think its their year again.

I also doubt Oregon will survive the Civil War game with Oregon State this year.  I think they'll finish 8:2 on the season. (or is it 9:2?)  I'm just enjoying the moment right now :D

I just checked the schedule... November 10th will be the UCLA-Ducks showdown.  It might very well be the Pac-10 championship.

Washington State looks good this year... but they have a tough road ahead of them too.  They have to go through the Ducks and Huskies to make it... and I think they play the dogs in Seattle this year.

Well Ole Miss won Sat but I still fear it is not to be a great season.
