It has been classified until now.

4 NASAMS missile batteries with comand and control systems were ordered in the summer of 2004 to protect DC during the seremony were Bush was given 4 more years. The system is still there to protect DC from air attacks by uav's, ac and cruise missiles. Kongsberg Defence are training the soldiers on the system and more will prolly be ordered.

As long as the missile system isnt OPERATED by Norwegians, we should be OK. I remember my grandfather's (on my mother's side) sense of direction. Or lack thereof. He could get lost inside his own house. I dont think I want to rely on Norwegians to aim things that go BOOM.

This miserable messed up confused nation of ours would be a heluva lot worse off if it didn't have the folks that came here from scandanavia (and yes, denmark) to make this place thier home over the last few hundred years. There's even a coupla frenchmen here I'd like to see stay.

If we've got a Norwegian Missile System guarding the Ramparts of Corrupt... err; Democracy, then chances are it'll work.
