3-18 minutes Raider, and how is it mentally painful?  Perhaps as the criminal held his hands to his victims throat until the victim died, watching the criminal, unmercilessly take a life.  Or as the criminal bludgeons the victim to death.  Sets fire to the victim, drowns the victim.  How can you live in Texas and call lethal injection cruel and unusual?  It's more cruel for the injector i'd think.  They know what they did and they know they will have to pay.  Perhaps looking forward to Ol' Sparky isn't as cruel and unusual...

Nice change of subject.  Yes, mistakes happen, that's why most on death row will die in prison going through apellate courts before they actually hit the ejection seat and pull the cord.  Who's fault is it though?

Because people die every day, former Marines included.  You do the crime, you do the time.

Why should it be on CNN?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

 yeah CNN only focus on bad news did you watch CNN yesterday between 12-3pm central time they just started covering a situation about a construction worker dangling 60 ft. in the air by a rope and then they cut and showed a live police chase in L.A. guess they thought that was more important they exaggeratedly talked about the chase a lot

Are you saying the completion of the sentence on the ex-Marine is "good news" that we all should hear about?

What is your point with that?

Have some Huge Ghey weight lifter repeatingly rape him orally and anally for hours on end then kill him slowly and toss his body behind some Church.

Let him die as slowly and painfully as Carlie did.

I understood that an ex-Marine had been executed in Texas from your post.

The part I didn't understand, and still don't understand, is this:

Quote
They executed a man in Tx yesterday why wasn't that on CNN he was a former marine

Are  you complaining that it wasn't on CNN? Why do you think it should be on CNN?

They just carried out the sentence.

No, WRONG!

What is a punishment if they can't feel it?

It's like going to ground a teenager for something, but never really grounding him.

This is a punishment that should be feared, and feared rightly so because it should be painful, public, and embarassing.  Only when we really start to execute murderers, and do it this way will it be a deterrant.

Doesn't he have an eternity to "feel" it?  Our goal is hastening him to that end and removing him as a threat to society.  I find it frankly astonishing that you think death is not punishment enough.  What greater punishment can one face?

What lesson are you trying to teach him right before you kill him?  You aren't teaching him anything, as you are merely satisfying your own bizarre bloodlust.  Sort of, you know, like he was doing when he murdered the girl.
