....after 50 seconds of losing badly 6 on 1 to an F4u, a 109E comes beetling along at walking pace and pops the F4U off amoungst the masses of uber spitfires just as a very over zealous ganger augers hard style bout twenty yrds infront of the aircraft.

made me laugh like a mad man for a few seconds.

who says the LW is porked now eh?

I was in that possition to get a horde of planes low for my squaddies who climbed for a minute and then destryoed them in a CV vs CV +base battle

it was a fun 6 on 1 F4U vs all spit16s in feeding frenzy mode along with a hurricane to nip my heels. not one of them did a single bit of damage for a whole 50 seocnds of close proximity 6 on 1 engagement by some unbilievable luck, it was great, and i found a huge irony that the 7th fighter to enter was a very low rated 109E who calmly chews a wing off.

its nothing more than 50 seconds of high octane laughter

the auger is sweet, only kill i got.

the point of this humour is that out of 5 spixteens, a hurri2c and a 109E the crappiest plane got the kill.

i think what bat is trying to say is that spit16's are only as good as the pilot, and that they aren't totally uber, because 6 of em couldnt get him, then the worst plane of the lot got the kill.

he was being funny, not being serious about the 109 being crappy.

for a start you totaly missed the fact that i saluted the 109E pilot in my original post.

lol, thought i'd look em up for a giggle to show you what kind of dweeb i am.

seems my favorite things in the world are flaps and jugs......(surely like most men)...but im prone to flying uber cannon dweeb rides, spitfires, German rides, light bombers, and even the lgay7 whenever the situation has demanded this tour. Our squad's main enjoyable feature imo is that we certainly don't limit ourselves to just flying the best fighter plane ever developed exclusively.
