To mark gv's, isn't that from the Korean war?

I believe they used phosphor rockets?

Just about everybody missed that one.

RAIDER, wingtip smoke is disabled in the online combat arenas.

in H2H that how they do it as the C-47 goony bird is the only plane enabled in H2H GV Wars you fly at tree top level at around 120mph looking for gvs and when you spot 1 you climb up to about 1000 ft. circle the gv doing tight turns with smoke on contact the guy in the shore gun or nearby friendly tank

H2H is not HT's main concern, afterall, you dont pay

most of the suggestions here are for the online arenas

In the Pacific, RAAF Boomerangs regularly marked targets with smoke for the RNZAF's F4U's and the USAAF medium bombers.

Bring on the Boomerangs as well :)

In fact, in WWII there were spotter planes flying around just for this purpose.  They would fly until they found GVs, radio in the location and drop smoke when the fighters came in.  So it was not only from laters wars.  IF you really want to get back to when 'smoke" was first dropped, go back to WWI.  They would drop smoke and the artillery would fire on the smoke.

That would be very helpful.   It isn't fun then u spot a gv hiding and ur trying to tell the your gv where it is and they can't find it and then your friend is shot and ur alone with hardly any fuel trying to stop the gv.
