Actually it's not out. Someone found a "test demo" on an ubisoft ftp site and prompty told all and sundry about it.   :D

IL2...Graphically gorgeous...P39 in demo handles a treat. 109 less so, but still looks the part.
Il2 however-still a flying brick!  :D

create a folder, select all and extract to that folder you'll then find a IL2 icon from which to start game.

Actually it seems like it wasnt offical...
But it's out there, Oleg made a comment on the simhq board saying that it wasn't the latest version of the demo but an OK version.
