What drediock said, you can't really get high on "industrial" hemp.  The kids around here love to buy hemp necklaces and what not.  And for the record i've never touched the marijuana.

My post was not accusing you guys of anything.  I am well aware of the differences between industrial vs recreational MJ.

But, the reason I mentioned Dow Chemical is that they led the charge against MJ, using it's supposed narocotic aspect to get it made illegal and to ensure a market for their synthetic rope and fibres.

I've smoked, ate, inhaled and ingested. The prohibition on hemp and MJ is just plain stupid. GRASS is a great film documenting the fight against MJ in America. I highly recommend watching it before you form your final opinion on the subject.

the single damaging factor for cannabis users is when one's mind becomes addicted.

other than that, MJ is totaly harmless, if you dont mind being lazy, smelly and poor.

And Jello Biafra used it's industrial form to rally people to support the legalization of marijuana in general;)

Propaganda, and poor propaganda at that.

While I gave it as well as most othe things up a long time ago.
About all I do now is have a drink now and again. but even thats pretty rare. LOL a 6 pack would last me probably a couple months.

I know a whoooole lot of people that still do smoke pot. The very vast majority are hard working upper middle class and upperclass people. None are lazy, smelly or by any stretch of the imagination, poor.

On the other hand, I know alot of  people who who dont do it at all who are are, poor ,lazy and smelly.

Pot, is no worse then beer or wine. I wouldnt even put it in the hard liquor catagory.
And in fact I'd trust much more someone high on pot then someone drunk on booze any day of the week.
Its not even a close competition.

That's a little ironic considering that Dow makes napalm.

From what I've read and seen, both sides of the argument give biased and skewed facts.

I have a couple questions for those who imbibe with marijuana for "recreational use".

Do you have kids and smoke around them or in their sight?

When will you provide your kids their first dose?
