Trucks along roads would be quick, and jeeps too. If they've picked up a downed pilot and return him back to a friendly base then speed would be very useful.
Here we are, living on top of a molten ball of rock, spinning around at a 1,000mph, orbiting a nuclear fireball and whizzing through space at half-a-million miles per hour. Most of us believe in super-beings which for some reason need to be praised for setting this up. This, apparently, is normal.

Are you for real?  Un-Armored?  Heck if you can bounce an 88mm AP rounds off an M-3 at under 800 meters, I bet you could empty your entire magazine into a canvas Duce and a half and never hurt it.

I have long thought that the Duce & 1/2 would be a good addition, but the AI convoys would have to yield to us then.  And the road system would have to be revamped a bit.  It would be a fine addition though, that or the DUKW so we could cross those pesky bays that have the spawn 6k from the base but are actually 20k away because you have to drive around the bay to get to the stupid base.  :lol

Without a total revamp of the road system, trucks would be a total waste.  They may travel faster on a road, but the way the roads wind around, the distance would make up for the speed.  So I don't really see how a truck will help, at least not at this time.

On the other hand:  If they develop more of a GV/troop wars aspect, then trucks would be a must!

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Lost a wing? We'll watch Larry pull one out of his handy dandy pocket and attach it to his plane

Oh! Oh! Would we get nurses with ludicrously huge cartoon jugs, too? :D
