Author Topic: 2.07 autoupdate bug? (Read 229 times)

Updated through the ingame autoupdate function, installed. Downloaded hi-res pack, installed. Fired up TrackIR, launched game, let plane cache do its thing, logged into the main. Exited to adjust TIR settings... upon logging in, the autoupdater asks to update again, click yes, then shoots me back to the main menu.

same thing here...

I tried several times to run the auto update, but with no luck ( I would see the download screen for a second but then get dropped back to the main menu.

I rebooted, and then tried to log on... I got a message saying something to the effect

"Optional update avaliable, do you want it" or something... i clicked ok, nothing happened (the auto update download screen popped up for less then a second like before) but then it gave me the arena list screen.

I quit and tried launching it again, but same deal.

So currently i have version 2.07 Patch 0.... i guess i'll give it a go, but I'm wondering if i'm missing something?

I got the patch downloaded ok but when I tried to install it would get to about 87% and then go to an error sceen telling me that AH.exe was not a valid previous version of AH and wouldn't install.... So I am haveing to download the entire game on my blazing fast dialup........

if you have version 2.07 patch 0... and are having trouble with the autoupdate...
