Troop jeeps

Okay, now we have jeeps which carry vehicle supplies.  Why not add the option to carry 4 troops?  That would make taking a base fun, needing 3 jeeps or 1 M-3, C-47.

we also need an option to not carry and troops/supplies. for when we wanna drive it and the bases strats are down.

As you know, I like this idea.  Even two troops would be nice.

I can fit 4 people in my jeep any more that that there is a stability issue.Of course that includes the driver.

C-47s did transport jeeps I'm not sure if they did any combat drops like
C-130s though

As a supply plane, the C-47 could carry up to 6,000 pounds of cargo. It could also hold a fully assembled jeep or a 37 mm cannon. As a troop transport, it carried 28 soldiers in full combat gear. As a medical airlift plane, it could accommodate 14 stretcher patients and three nurses. The most visible change was fit of a double cargo door into the rear left side of the fuselage, with a passenger door nested inside the right half of the cargo door. In a sense, the cargo doors were the aircraft's worst feature. They worked as specified, but since the C-47 was originally designed as a commercial transport, it was not optimized for loading cargo as a aircraft with nose or tail doors would have been. Getting large cargoes in and out of a C-47 could be time-consuming and frustrating; a jeep could be driven up a ramp into the aircraft, but it had to be manhandled around to fit inside the fuselage. Although the C-47 would become arguably the most famous cargolifter of all time, it was strictly an improvisation in that role.

Airscrew, you are talking about a slightly different versions of the plane each time.  What I meant by "NEVER Happen, I won't fit" it requires large cargo door to be in place and the modeling HTC has, doesn't.  (Though that is a flaw there for the loading of supplies anyway)  It also takes a lot of work to get a jeep into one of those birds, not as easy as just loading cargo.  So, in short, I still say NEVER Happen and I'm not  talking RL but AH

Well you know what Gato?  maybe you could have been a little clear in your post,   Never Happen Wont Fit.   doesnt say anything about AH or RL

and although the larger cargo doors arent modeled in AH whose to say it cant or wont in the future.

Also those links and decriptions about the jeeps are all for WW2 C-47s,  or did you actually click and read any of them.  What do ya expect on the intardnet, these are mostly condensed version that are posted on these websites.

Sorry, my bad.  And yeah, I glanced at the link.  But then I already know a lot about the C-47.  It was and still is at the top of the list of great planes.  But then the C-46 was under rated, IMHO.  Okay, so maybe my opinion is not humble at all.  lol

the Curtis C-46 was bigger, carried more, and probably flew harder than the C-47.  Both great planes,  I think the C-47 had a better Publicity Agent and got more press.
