You may have answered your own question. Did you even think he might have re-logged because he was warping. Or he discoed and didn't bail or alt f4. ( you said you checked Roster fast he was gone)You need to step back read your post and situation think what if this was me doing this?
This is like those new TV commericals about first impressions. message at end says "Don't judge by first impressions"

And by looking at his stats do you really think he is expert at cheating. I hope you didn't  private him or call him out on 200. bad enough you did it here. where this person hopefully doesn't read yet. You could be calling your next Friend a Cheat for no reason or worst making his impression of Ace's high a bad one. If I remember right your a business owner so was I. It cost me about 38k in advertising and misc work just to get a long term customer. I have no clue if HTC has gone and done its research on how much it cost to get a new customer for long term. Can tell you that   advertising not cheap. and without New players how do you think they will afford new planes and update game we all enjoy. Best to do like Dale and HTC has asked "send us film please do not post bbs or get into harassing in arena's".

okay off soap box for now!

Its amazing no screen shot of this or film to prove. pretty easy to say it just happened.  Shame this needs to be locked before more urban-legends appear.

I tell ya ... if you privated me and called me a cord puller ... I would have told you the same ... just to yank your chain.

Nothing worse than some neanderthal who takes the game way to seriously to the point that they have to private you and make accusations.

Chit happens and as Rod has pointed out ... most have no clue and make foolish assumptions that can result in one eating a plate of crow.

Rod I kept my lip zipped and he's not a new guy.  If he was new I wouldn't have done anything.  He's in an established squadron on who's homepage he's listed as a "veteran" of the online sim world.

It walks like a duck...it quacks like a duck...it's not a goose.

In the previous 30 minutes I'd ran into him a couple times.  He was smooth and he showed no signs of being warpy.  Not until first reversal did it happen and he winds up directly behind me.  Shook em...he was smooth throughout the minute long fight.  Warps again (all over the sky) and is smooth as silk right up until he alt+f4's out.

Mkay, one time in band camp, I tried to pull my cord. But I got the draw string to my gym pants instead. I ended up almost strangling my PP to death.

I had a warper like that on Saturday, and in frustration I accused him of pulling the modem cord. But now I am not so sure that he was cheating, remembering that I warped just like that a few months ago because of a new motherboard that was faulty. It was only when I noticed that everyone else was zigzagging all over the place that I realized it was ME, and when I checked my net status I saw severe and random spiking. Because it was random, some of my flight was smooth, but I would suddenly warp when I was behind or in front of an enemy.

From an enemy's perspective, I must have been warping just like dommy1 was in your film. He may not have been cheating at all. As soon as I realized what was up, I logged off realizing what a pain my warping would be to other players.  Maybe dommy1 did the same.

When I saw dommy1 warping when he was on your high six, I began to think his warping was not intentional, because that would never be to anyone's advantage.

Anyway, you found a warper. I am not convinced that he was cheating, especially with all of the reported connection problems after the last update.

eh?

Hmm . . . last night I was on line for about an hour or so, flying fine and smooth and all . . .

A little before nine, I notice a plane warp.  Then I notice the beacon thingy comes on.  Yep, lost UDP or whatever it is.

Try to enter the furball . . . fly for a couple minutes . . . all the other icons drop to the ground.  A couple seconds more, and I crash to desktop.

So, you ran into him a few times and he seemed smooth.  Then he gets warpy.  Slightly smooth again.  Then he discos.  So?  Seems to be what happens to people when a connection issue pops up.
