AHII FV. How Do I?
« on: March 23, 2006, 07:18:13 PM »
I am wondering. In the AHII Film Viewer. How do I "Cut-out" sections of film that I do not want to use? Example. I want to cut out section time starting from second/minute 0:00. And going to Second / minute 1:00?

And then, if I want to cut out sections 2:58 - end? I have a squad mate that got the FV to work, so i'm going to try to use it as well, but I need to trim some footage.

Thanks in advance:aok

What you can do is save just the portions of the films you want to keep.

To do this run the film, and when you get to the point in the film you want to save, click on "start select". When you have reached the point where you want to end the clip, click "stop select". Then copy select to save it.

hope this is what you were looking for.

rogerdee is correct.  Use fraps, it's much simpler.

Fraps:
NO NO NO NO NO, AND NO AGAIN!

I only have 800 MB of space left, fraps takes too much of my HD space. I only have a 7GB HD, which sucks, but it's what i've got. And to hell with fraps cause I dont have the memory to use it!

np Bogie.

You may want to consider a larger HD. You can pick them up pretty cheap. 7GB is really tiny nowadays.
