Seattle/Puget Sound Area WWII Event
« on: March 25, 2006, 01:22:50 AM »
Just thought I'd pass this event along for anyone in the Seattle/Puget Sound area that might be interested.  I'm reading from a flyer and am not associated with the event, but do plan to attend.

Lt. Co. James Keeffe, Jr. (Ret'd) has been invited to speak on his WWII experiences as a B-24 pilot and P.O.W. in Nazi Germany.  His story includes participation in 2,000 plane raids on the German aircraft industry, bailing out over Holland, his efforts to evade capture, and his internment as a P.O.W.  Included will be real footage of bombing missions and fighter attacks, along with pictures, document and letters from the conflict.

The event is being held on the Eastside (Seattle people know where that is :) ) near North Bend and the City of Snoqualmie, at the Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church, Saturday April 8th, 12:30 - 3:30 pm.  For more info, call (425) 888-3294.
