LMAO No I wasnt wetting the bed. I know this cause Im the one that got to do the patching.

the final straw was when it developed a split about 6 inches long.

the only bad thing I could say about a water bed was if the heater came unplugged.
In the summertime it would feel nice and cool at first. Then you could feel your body kind cramp up.

It balances that waviness in your brain and actually makes everything seem normal.

We sleep on a quality pillowtop and I really like it.  Sleep great in it.

Obviously, bed preferences are highly personal.  I'm very happy with the bed I bought two years ago, the most comfortable I've ever had - its a low platform bed with hard wood slats butted against each other head to foot, and a thin futon mattress with a thin down mattress cover on top of that.  Its  like throwing a good, thick sleeping bag on top of a wooden deck. I have compression fractures in my lower vertibrae, and this bed works better for me than any other I've tried.  There is no way I can sleep on a water bed.
