When in CV hangar earlier today, 40mm would fire and that sound would make the screen get a yellowish tint and do kind of a flashy blinky thing.
Had a squaddie go to same hangar on same CV ....same thing for him.

Muzzle flashes/tracers?

Maybe someone shot the own CV for fun.

Think it may be muzzle flash that happens when the gun is fired at a certain angle and shows through the same hole in the deck that occasionaly swallows planes.

That hole in the deck is dreadful. I was doing an on-board landing in my spitfire MK V when I zoomed right through the deck.... Just dreadful!:cry
