that's great, and I've been here since early 2002. KS was on for years, and things were fine. Read the quote hub posted. The DA isn't the furball arena; DUELING implies 1v1. If you want to fly KOTH, show up for them. They run twice a month. You'll probably learn something - you won't find that many good sticks in one place anywhere else.

Speaking of..... the REAL King of the Hill is going to be 8/8/06 9pm EST in the Special Events Arena.  Then another 2 weeks from today on 8/14/06 3pm EST.

If ya' got a few hours to spare (typically 3ish hours, but i've seen 7) or can just pop in for a few rounds, come give it a go.  The King of the Hill is one of the better times one can have while playing AH.  You will find most ego's checked at the door, and it's just a fun time for all.  It's not who win's the KOTH, it's the KOTH itself that is a blast.  You just want it to keep going all night it's so fun.  The best fight's i've ever been in, or watched have been during a KOTH.  It's a blast to just sit in the tower and watch it in CM eye God mode.  I've seen some incredible fight's.  

This one time I watched ManeTMP fight and kill 'round 10 guys, one after another.  It was like a chinese martial arts flick.  One turn; BOOM!  Merge; BOOM!  Kill after kill, one after another.  Not sure if he won that round, but it was some of the best flying i've ever seen.  The timing of it all was perfect.

Stop in the Special Events Arena next Sat. night 'bout 9pm EST and get ready to fight.

This style of play can be had for free in the H2H arena.

I agree with HT.

I pay $14.95 per month to be able to use the DA for what it was designed  for, and not have to worry about some twits making up rules (check six etc) or be subject to vulching and harrasment.

Maybe I'm not sure what KS is but 3 months ago a green icon could shoot down another green icon without taking damage to themselves.

Now if you shoot a countryman you take the damage. this was implemented about 3 months ago
