International Screenshot Contest Top 20 Announced
« on: April 01, 2006, 12:46:58 AM »

The Top 20 pictures were selected by participating Aviation Artists. These pictures will go on display at the Royal Air Force Museum, London and the San Diego Aerospace Museum.

The following changes to the planned final judging process has been necessary.

The winners will be selected at a judging day at the Royal Air Force Museum, London only. No voting will take place at the San Diego Aerospace Museum but the finalist will be on display at both Museums.

The following Aviation Artists will be attending the RAF Museum, London to judge the finalists:

Michael Turner
Charles Thompson
Ronald Wong
Edmund Miller (no website)
Martin Bleasby
Paul Couper

The RAF Museum, London will display these pictures in the Milestones building between April 9th - 23rd. Entry into the Museum is free and all are welcome. If you would like more info on seeing the display please post your question in this thread or contact me by PM at SSA.

The pictures at the RAF Museum will be printed and mounted by Museum staff and are being displayed during a busy period for the Museum ensuring many will see the pictures.

The San Diego Aerospace Museum will be doing likewise and plan to display early May. I will confirm their dates at a later time.

I again would like to thank all those who entered the Contest and to the Aviation Artists for giving their time to enhance and judge this contest.

Photographs of the display and final judging will be posted at SSA.

See the the Top 20 here

Those of you that have made it through to the finals need to send me the following ASAP - this means ASAP!

1. Full size original version of your picture (as big as you have got, please send tiff, png etc files if you have them, jpg is ok for online but not best for printing)
2. Your real name
3. Your location i.e. London, England
3. Description of picture, one of these two only
a. Name of flight sim (use if you only used elements from a flight sim i.e. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004)
b. Photo composite (use if you used a photo background, we don't want to know which flight sim your model came from)

Contact me using the details at the bottom of this thread here

Thanks
Neil
