Some guys want it some guys dont but adding some first person shooting into AH would bring alot more to the game. I hate droping those stupid troops that get lost, or get them selfs killed. People say that this is a flight sim and theres no need for fps but at the same time why do we have tanks. They added the jeep and to me thats a perfect gv to run troops into a town to fight off enemy troops halo style. They can just bite off of the millions of other fps's out there(halo). Just create a generic ww2 soldier not a german or american just a plane troop. Give him a choice of what types of weapons he carrys(rifles,machine guns,gernades) and send him on his way. Instead droping morons you can drop actual players to cap a base or criple it by taking out hangers or supplies.

this is a mainly air combat based game not a fps

Yup. Though, if you really WANT to run around with a gun in your hand, you can always bail out.

Yes, this is a flight game and although not uBEr |337 like CS, people still add these funny CS-like sigs like *cough* bunny *cough cough* j/k

If its a straight air combat game you shouldnt have any gvs, you shouldnt be able to work a field gun and you dont even need bombers. GVs add more balance to the game. You guys are quick to attack a guy driveing a gv but them guys pull there wieght. I seen gunners on cvs bag 10+ kills. I dont care if he aint that good of a dogfighter. Like those bomber junkies, the boy is useless in a fighter but he could knock out a base quick. Plus i like haveing more variety in the game, ill escort bombers or fighter sweeps all day but grabing a gun on a b17 or runin a tank gives the game more playable. An addition of fps wont be so out there that it will seriously change the way the game is played. It will just add to the ground game.

If you get FPS I get a Sherman with a flame thrower and get to watch you run awround burning to a crisp, i'll then run over you.

I was a little out of it that night Debonair. I believe that was the night 999000 came to Bish and I was laughing while getting shot to pieces sortie after sortie. Came on here and everything was just as funny. Something in the water:aok

That was sure enough funny. It made me shoot coffee out of my nose; then I pictured it...it got even funnier. I would like to do that myself; it would lose it's appeal eventually I'm sure, but chasing down crispy critters & grinding them into paste with a tank.....could we get the *pop-squish* sound effects too?

P.S. Can we also be able to rundown troops? I was going 60MPH one day and thought i'd get some good action running down some troops but nothing, so I machine gunned 'em. Just isn't as fun:(

htc is supposed to be realistic but u cant run over troops with the gv's, now the jeep really is useless. lol
