This is a British guy in India (in the 1800s), but I think it applies just as well to say, Afganistan or Iraq today.

In the country I come from, we have things called elections. The man who gets the most votes wins.

If someone tries to take over with say, the second most votes, it's called treason, and subject to execution.

i don't know what country you are from, but before you go executing anyone maybe you should find out how the election process works in the USA.

Where I come from, it's the most electoral[/b] votes; not just the popular vote.

You know, now that is was brought up, I actually read a book the other day called the best democracy money can buy. Written by some expat american living in england.

He goes into a detail about a bunch of stuff, including the florida election that decided the 2000 presidential election. He made a pretty good case for the republicans stealing that election in florida.
