Looks very fake to me, but I don't know squat on octopus or chromatophore capabilities.

The octopus is a champion at color changing.  The cuttle fish might be even better.

Yup, it was on of those Discovery channels last week.

In the same episode they managed to take the DNA that makes a Firefly glow and splice it into a weeds DNA so the weed would glow when awake.

I met a cuttleflish about a month ago & it was damned good.
It was swimming around & hunting.  If you took your eye off of it for a second it was hard to find it again, but the ocotpus in that clip was much better
