Mauser Cannons?
« on: April 04, 2006, 06:39:13 PM »
Were these the MGFF or Mg151/20 type? I keep running across refernces to them being used on the later versions of the IAR fighters, but it never says Mg151 of MGFF- just "20mm Mauser-type cannons".

I would assume that a 1944-45 aircraft would use an Mg151, but there is still some debate.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

MG 151/20 was the Mauser cannon. The MG FF was built by Ikaria.
