I know we've got dozens of spits, I know everyone thinks no-hopers fly them and I know there weren't a lot of them about but they have to be the #1 sexy looking fighters of WW2 - and that, imho means they deserve to be modelled.

Just think how much fun we can have posing over nme fields.

notice one thing....its not all the people in the world, its only you guys in england.  The spit fire is tooooo plain.  Theres no curves.  Just straight lines. With out the paint job its hard to tell a spit apart from anything else.

I think it is just the English that love Spitties, *for the most part*. I don't mind them, but aesthetically, they're not the most pleasing.

I mean, it's like Fran Dresher... Parts of the package are nice, but then you get to the face and hair and voice.

No curves?  Mayhap you were thinking the Bf109 is a Spitfire?

The wings are practically nothing but curves.  The Spit has more curves than most WWII fighters by far.

i used to fly spits, spent alot of time lookin at it plus u see alot of them when u fight. Its not something ima paint on my wall or anything.  The other problem with the spit that i kinda hate is the fact that its a dweeb plane takes away from the fighter, historically it was a very important fighter for the raf. I mean as soon as i stoped flyin it it was like a graduated.

I know what you're saying bk, but you're drifting off the thread to try and make a point.  Spit is a dweebs plane because it's good - anyone can get kills in it.  Same criticism can be made for any class plane - P51, Corsair, La7, 190 etc.
You don't need to hate them - get some perspective, relax, get some fresh air, pretend you're a neewb.
Put a spit poster on your bedroom wall & kneel before it every night chanting "why did Mitchell make you so beautiful?" and soon you'll be a blessed & chosen follower.

All I'm saying is it looks good - subjective? yeah, why not?
Regards
:)
