at the time of the "leak" Plame was a analyst at CIA HQ, she was brought back from africa in 1997 after Aldrich Ames (CIA employee) was caught giving files to the russians.
Even when she was in africa she was not a" under cover secret agent man",
she worked at a front company run by the CIA, she operated under non-official cover.

the president can declassify classified information at any time, he declassified the whole report 2 days later.

Wilson, her husband, outed himself in a op-ed in the New York Times on July 6, 2003,"what i didn't find in africa" in which he described his CIA sponsored trip to Niger in 2002.

I'd bet that the partisanship in here and in general has grown to the point where people turn a blind eye to the shortcomings of their side and a big ol' spotlight on the shortcomings of the other side.

Bush has the power to unclassified a document but doesn't have the right to expose a CIA agent, especially under the circumstances.

If there is indisputable evidence that he did what he's being accused of, I predict impeachment.  Of course the chances of finding indisputable evidence is slim to none.  The word of one man against the president doesn't mean squat.
