I am 73 and 8 in that monster never going over 10k and most times in a furball. Thank god all the vet have big egos and don’t fly them. It’s not the super plane it was after last patch but I will take it. Great all around fighter personally I like to use it as a E fighter but close in. Keep your pray less than 1 k and you can make that ammo go far. I flew the typhie and thought that I was a good stick in that ride. Was I wrong the 16 fits my fighting skills and is just so fun! BTW it doesn’t matter if a con his over my head our under (: Love it

I see people bashing the 16 on 200 all the time. So guy last night said that a 16 was a easy kill for him. I pm him and said lets go to the da and see. Gave him a 5k alt advantage with his f4u he died 3 times. The he jumped in a spit 9 co alt he died 3 times. I know he is a great stick just as good as me but the 16 makes the difference. I think that newbs will never be a threat in a 16 our in that case any plane. So just because you see a 16 out in the middle with no one around but you and 2 other countryman beware!

i love it too

although i really hate people telling me im a dweeb for flying it. i dont ho, i dont do all the gamey crap like that, that these guys do, yet they call me the dweeb because im in a spit:rolleyes:

i dont fly the spit much either, i usually fly 1/3 of the planeset each day, but i get these wazzocks who fly nothing but lgay7s all day long, and they tell me im a spitdweeb and that im sad and boring????

some people are just stupid. i believe morph said it before, 'the battle for who's the dweebiest has already been won in the minds of those fighting it'. kinda sad but hey

I fly 109's f6f p38 everything but when the crap hits the fan the 16 is my best friend. If you dont understand what the pro's and con's of your pray aircraft you have no idea what they can and cant do. I think that it is really important to fly the majority of the plane set almost every month to get a feel. Also i do the hole list once in the summer and once in the winter from top to bottom moving on to the next plane after i land 2 kills.

I flew the 16 alot when it first came out, because it was new and a lot of fun. Now it is my "OK you pissed me off with your horde airplane". If I am up against 6 to 10 alt mokey cherry pickers you can bet I will be killing you in a 16.

For the run of the mill fights I fly the VIII. It is a little more challengeing and most dont run from it like they run from a 16 and the guys in 16s think they will get an easy kill on an 8. There is nothing better than killing a 16 in an 8 or less.

Spit16s are fun to shoot down, especially when it's piloted by an over-eager pilot and gets his arse handed to him.

but, for looking for fights, i've been in a k4 a lot recently. great ride, it's nice and responsive. won a fight against a decent stick in a 16 in one the other day lol. lasted about 5 mins and i got him in the end, was great. in that respect, having to work for kills, i love the k4, always a massive sense of satisfaction after owning someone in it:D i'd love to DA you some time, see how you do it:aok

Kappa did give me a good run in his 38 the other night. But i was drunk and my GF was on my arse to come to bed. Thats about the only time this month that i lost a 1v1..

No seriously, fly the typhy for a chalenge. Don't fly a spit8 and think you're good because you can kill a spit16.

Not really think about it BZ pilots dont really like it. Their are many planes that will out turn it and its not that fast. Has a small tank and some people can only land 2 to 4 kills with the ammo load. So no its not for everyone.. Its not a LA7 that you can't kill because the guy will not turn. Its not a hurri 2 that can out turn almost anything. Its not a nikki that you can spray hot lead and have plenty to go around. p47 will out dive it. ki84 fight vert will out dog fight it. A 51 can bz you to death...... Their are many different rides for different pilots. I change my ride all the time but with this patch the 16 is king for me.

The last time I was underage was nearly 7 years ago. You're making it seem like the Spit 16 is the only plane that can't be shot down. As I mentioned in my post, the over-eager pilot is one that makes mistakes and gets shot down
