I have never OC, a PC. Some times I have tried to set some settings in BIOS, but the benefit has been marginal, and my system has run hot, even without OC.
Now I think my PC runs quite cool.
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2800+ Barton CPU in windows runs at 36 celcius.
GeForce FX 5900 Ultra [NV35.0] in windows runs at 56 celcius.
In game the heat goes up with maybe 15-20 celcius each.
Could my system be OC ? If so, how much more FPS could I expect to get from the system.
I don't want to risk breaking my PC to get 10 FPS more, but if I could get 20+ FPS, it could be worth trying. (Well I dont WANT to break it.)
Now I get around 45FPS +- 15 (varies alot)
Edit. Just noticed that if there is a lot of planes, my frames drop below 20.
